AVOIDING KISSES SINCE FOREVER! I think i'm very frustrating when it comes to this stuff. I remember one of my girlfriends in the past really wanting to make out, but I would naturally turn my head at the last moment or just avoid it all together. It wasn't that I wouldn't like to make out or kiss, but I would get so nervous and shy because of how inexperienced I was (and still am) and just reacted! I'm sure it frustrated her, but she was very patient with me. NEVER MADE OUT THOUGH. TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE REALM OF KISSES AND MAKE OUTS!
(specially thanks to http://deadfish25.deviantart.com/ for providing me with reference for the last panel!)

isn't make out sort of like french kissing??

i don't know....

Reply Lashana, June 6th, 2012, 5:08 am

XD It's just prolonged kisses, basically. No biggie. I get a bit shy too when someone new is involved, I just ignore it though. :P

Reply Shiroi Angel, June 6th, 2012, 5:12 am

Ironically that's what i'm going through at the moment....

Reply Kiel95, June 6th, 2012, 5:57 am

hahaha :D I don't know what it's like to make out either xD I've kissed before... but uh... it's never been a real kiss I guess you could say cuz it's all from games like The Ice Cube Game, Spin the Bottle, and Truth or Dare ^^; so I'm basically just as inexperienced as you... i highly doubt anything I've done is even remotely similar to make out so im a complete newbie when it comes to that... well, that and relationships... so you can be happy that you've at least been in some, even if they didn't work out~

Reply Dumah, June 6th, 2012, 6:07 am

I'm 22 and I still think kissing is gross. The first time a guy tried to kiss me, I jerked back and turned my face away. He kissed my cheek instead. Ugh. Gross.

I think I'm asexual.

Reply animefan23, June 6th, 2012, 6:21 am

@campanella: It's french kissing for a very long time.

Reply Haruhichan01, June 6th, 2012, 7:11 am

I flip out when someone kisses me too. Whenever I get embarressed I cry. ;u;'

Reply Mythee, June 6th, 2012, 8:01 am

21 and top-of-the-head, in-someone's-hair kisses are the only ones I don't find gross and intimidating. xD

I think more of us are like this than we realize. Imagine if two people who don't like to kiss are a couple? Zero frustration, maximum profit! 8D

i don't like it when boys try to kiss me unless I am dating them so I totally do the whole turn head/push the fuckers away thing haha! Girls I don't mind though... I think i just don't like the whole macho thing when it's a dude, grrr!

Reply StarberryCutie, June 6th, 2012, 4:14 pm

@missgreeney: Once I'm old enough to drink, we will see if I become this confident beast or if I cry in the corner over everything.

Reply missgreeney, June 7th, 2012, 12:21 am

@Lesbian Comics:

Ah, well don't worry too much :) I didn't get any action until I was old enough to drink (19 in Ontario). Then I went to the gay bar on ladies night and had myself a grand old time. And you will too! :D

Reply lylelikesclouds, June 7th, 2012, 12:26 am

I'm basically the opposite. I love kissing and I think it's basically the quickest way to get to know someone. You can learn a lot about someone from kissing them

Reply KatzyKins, June 7th, 2012, 11:50 am

@campanella: It's the same thing just non-stop I believe

Reply ArkanoiR, June 7th, 2012, 12:39 pm

oh my god i have the exact same problem. I thought i was the only one. ; _;

Reply Lesbian Comics, June 9th, 2012, 4:49 am

@lovemuffin: He did? When did he ask you this?! I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS! BAW POOR SCOTT! He's a good guy, not a smelly jerk at all. Wasn't mean at all when he found out my gayness. Good guy, yupyup

Reply Shijiru, June 9th, 2012, 8:05 am

This is even funnier because yesterday something similar happened x)
I mean, I have kissed and made out, but doing it with a new person makes kinda of shy about it.

Reply Shijiru, June 9th, 2012, 8:12 am

@Lesbian Comics: This has happened to me too! this guy at college likes me, and my friends were cheering for him and tod him he had a chance (cuz I'm bi), but I started dating my current girlfriend at the time, and I feel kinda bad for the guy because hi is a goodboy, not a jerk like most of my classmates.

Reply MouseMute, June 13th, 2012, 2:25 am

Aww :( I understand how making out is intimidating... honestly tho, its not that hard at all! The first time is always kind of strange with a new person because you both have to adapt to the other person's way of kissing. Every boy (and girl) I've ever made out with has a different interpretation of kissing, but it's sooooo much fun to find out how to pleasure someone else! Don't be shy. I was taught how to kiss, and I've had to teach my boyfriends how to kiss sometimes, too. It's all a learning process :P
Don't avoid kissing! It is something very special, and if you're lucky enough to have someone to share it with you should definitely do it. Plus making out is a mixture of things... it doesnt always have to be tongue and whatnot haha

forced me but then we did
it all the time after school.

Reply TomorrowsNightmare95, September 2nd, 2012, 9:53 pm

I still remember when it happened to me. Contrary to popular belief being, me being the guy didn't make it any less nerve racking.

Reply amiko_16, September 4th, 2012, 12:01 am

ahahaha i was pretty much like this with my first GF

Reply Trial-Kuzu, December 22nd, 2012, 7:06 pm

Awwww, that's how my girlfriend was. She was so shy so I was always the one to make the first move. Luckily for her, she got a very persitant girlfriend, so I was able to help her become more comfortable with kissing me. It just takes time, I guess. :) Though, there are people who just aren't comfortable with making out, so it's really not anything strange :)

Reply Kanilla Maxwell, January 3rd, 2013, 12:43 pm

This is my girlfriend and me, yep. With her being the one who won't kiss :)

Reply SarahBearaBee, August 22nd, 2013, 7:44 pm

I used to do this to my ex-girlfriend so much that her friends decided to name this act, "Pulling a Sarah." I didn't mean to reject her, I'm just never know what's going on, and something else would grab my attention... xD

Reply Loverofpiggies, October 8th, 2013, 8:41 am

Oh god this sounds exactly like me. Making out just sounds so scary and I got NO experience and I'd just be panicking. ): I haven't had a girlfriend yet but I know it would make me crazy nervous and uncomfortable!!!

Reply shivkitty, June 27th, 2014, 1:02 pm

Kissing is magical, takes no alcohol, takes only a little skill, and is the best foreplay ever. Then again, I'm a sexual live wire, so almost everything turns me on. A girlfriend of mine in high school was in your shoes and didn't want to kiss because she hadn't before and also wore braces. I had had two girlfriends before her, so I still kinda knew nothing at all, but I was happy to pull down those barriers and simply get the initial awkwardness over with for her so that we could start having fun kissing without hangups! She was a good kisser after only a couple of weeks! I never did like the braces + Ritz crackers mix, though. However, I still think of her when eating Ritz crackers...

Reply Rashu, January 3rd, 2015, 12:50 pm

I have never kissed a girl before :( like proper kissed (I've pecked on the cheek and like a few time on the mouth but you know like you'd do as a greeting in europe...never real kisses). Have you made out with a girl yet? What's it like? Please tell me it's nothing great so I wont cry in a corner for missing out >///<

Reply FlameHazeKatsu, February 16th, 2015, 2:48 pm

gah. that'd be me too in the future

Reply tzuyufan14, November 26th, 2015, 4:53 pm

I'M SO GLAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO'S SHY ABOUT MAKING OUT!!! Ahaha I love my girlfriend and I love physical contact but I'm anxious and nervous pretty much all the time and this comic sums up my reactions very well.
